Beach Walk Cottage is beautifully landscaped with hibiscus, bougainvillea, Queen Emma Lilies and Manila, Coconut and Ceiling Wax Palms. There’s a screened in porch and a wonderful deck for your morning coffee, evening cocktails, or a barbecue. This is the perfect place to meet new friends too! You’ll be amazed at how nice everyone is on Guana. Great Guana Cay has some of the most beautiful beaches in all of the Bahamas. Beach Walk Cottage is very close to one of the best! We’re a 2 minute walk to the beach and if you get thirsty, Nippers is another 2 or 3 minutes from there! If it’s low tide you should be able to walk miles on the white, sandy beach, sometimes without seeing another person! There’s also some great snorkeling just off the beach so make sure you bring your gear (you can rent it at Dive Guana too). Wonderful restaurants, from the super casual to upscale, are nearby. Nippers and Grabbers are a 5 minute walk away. Nippers sits on the bluff above the turquoise ocean and is world famous for their Sunday Pig Roast. Grabbers is in a coconut palm grove on the Sea of Abaco side. It's a wonderful place to sip a cocktail while watching the sunset. Both have freshwater pools for guests to enjoy. A very short walk from the cottage is Sea Shore Villas aka Pirate’s Cove. The hosts Jerry & Chorene cook yummy home cooked meals. The fresh Bahamian breads at The Art Cafe are amazing. Upscale dining is available at Orchid Bay. If you're planning on cooking in, visit Milo at his corner stand for fresh fruits and vegetables. If you want to explore and don’t have a boat, a trip with Troy at Dive Guana is a must! If you do have a boat, make sure to head up to Spoil Bank Cay (aka Shell Island) for some beachcombing, there are SO many shells. If the weather permits and you are an experienced boater, make sure to go through the cut to the north and stop at the Atlantic beach. You will be amazed at how gorgeous the water is! Another fun day on the boat would be a trip to Hopetown on Elbow Cay to tour the lighthouse and museum, have some lunch and then spend the afternoon at Tahiti Beach. If you’re adventurous, drive the boat down to North Pelican Cay or the beach at Tilloo Bank and then have drinks and some smoked fish dip at Cracker P’s on Lubbers. Day sails are available with Cruise Abaco. They will even pick you up on Guana. There are so many things to do!

Within the settlement at the center of Great Guana Cay, there is a tiny hill. If you walk 20 feet up that hill, almost half way to the top, you will see a path with overhanging foliage that leads to a few wooden steps. Hiding in between the trees at the end of these steps you will find The Tree House, a welcoming and charming vacation home with cozy cypress wooden interior that stretches over one and a half story. The Tree House has three bedrooms, an open, fully equipped kitchen and a wooden deck outside where you can enjoy relaxed, private morning coffees, breakfasts or lunches. The Tree House is only a one minute walk from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean Beach (Dolphin Beach) with white sand, reefs and great snorkeling. If you want to walk to the other side, to the Sea of Abaco, it will take one minute too. In fact, the three establishments (bars & grill restaurants) on the Island and the grocery store are all within a 10 minutes walk from the house. You don’t really need to rent a golf cart, which is the most common vehicle on the island, but you may, if you like exploring and want to have some extra fun. You can reach everywhere just by walking, or renting a bicycle.

Welcome to our cottage aptly named Livin' the Dream. Peaceful, tranquil, restful and relaxing describe the atmosphere at Livin' the Dream, a quaint and cozy 2 bedroom cottage with 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, 2 lofts and a huge covered deck with hammocks and hanging chairs overlooking the crystal Sea of Abaco.
Situated on nearly 2 acres, the cottage is out of site of any neighbors. The 500 foot winding drive will bring a smile to your face as you arrive at the cottage which sits directly on the Sea of Abaco. The southern exposure affords breathtaking sunrise views and the night sky is so clear, you'll be amazed at all the stars. From the deck, you can even see the spinning light from the Hope Town Light House.

Welcome to our home in Great Guana Cay in the Bahamian chain of islands known as the Abacos. The island, originally settled in the late 1790's by loyalists banished from the newly independant United Stated of America is well off the beaten track.Because of the lack of a good harbor, the island was slow to prosper like neighboring Green Turtle or Man 'O' War. It's to our benefit today that the island remained almost untouched for 200 years. With new developments springing up all over the Bahamas, the peace and tranquility of remote and private Great Guana Cay awaits you.The cottage is close to the settlement with easy access to several oceanfront beaches. A dock is available for your boat or for fishing. Transportation around the island is mostly by rental golf cart, bicycles or on foot.
