There couldn't be a more appropriate name for this stunning tropical getaway. Tucked away on the south side of the Man O'War Village, this lovely private home offers view of the ocean and the sea. This executive style home sleeps up to 10 people and offers four bedrooms (2-King suites, twin), a fold out double couch, three full baths and a half bath. The main level sits high above the tree tops where you can see for miles. On this level, the airy master bedroom with private bath offers soaring vaulted ceilings, a jacuzzi tub, separate shower, bidet, and his and her sinks. The spacious fully equipped gourmet kitchen with a dishwasher, two ovens, trash compactor, microwave, and every imaginable appliance is a chef's delight. The huge double living room includes paddle fans, comfortable lounge and massage chairs, a satellite TV, VCR, stereo, CD and tape player. An adjacent lounge area with a bar. The dining room seats eight, and a nearby breakfast area seats four. The entire upper level has a wrap around, covered deck that has a gas grill, dinning tables, pool table, lounge chairs and hammock.Other amenities include an outside shower, games, novels, lush tropical vegetation, and a private 25' dock that is just steps from the back door where you can fish, take a private swim, or tie up your boat.

SeaScape is a traditional Man O War cottage that was built by Emerson Albury for my parents in 1981 and has been well kept by the Weatherford family ever since. The home is simple with a living area that includes a full kitchen, a dining area for four adults, and a living-room with two built-in couches and several hand-made chairs. A full bath (shower only) sits off the bedroom that is large enough for a king-size bed (or two singles). The home also has a large covered porch with views overlooking the harbor along with a crows nest that's wonderful to watch Bahamian sunsets. SeaScape rests about 50 feet from the harbor and the private dock. Just down the Queen's Highway from the dock is a small private beach on the harbor we call Alice's Beach, after our neighbor's now three year old daughter who loves to swim and play there along with her 1 year old brother. The Snuggery Guest House: The Snuggery, our guest house with a full bath features 1 Bedroom with a king size bed, and sleeps 2. The Snuggery sits at the top of the rise and overlooks the morning sunrise from its back porch facing the sea to the east. There's a beautiful view of the reef and the South Man O War channel. This private 2 acre property is set between the ocean and the harbor giving renters access to both sides of the island. This year, we cleared a view to the west, overlooking the harbor, from a meditation bench that sits in a private shaded clearing.

The main cottage has one bedroom with a queen bed and one bedroom with two single beds. The single beds can be pushed together to make a double. Both bedrooms are air conditioned.Amenities include Cable T.V, Telephone, Fully Equipped Kitchen and a private back porch.Add an additional bedroom by asking for the Tree House. As a 26-year owner of homes on nearby Elbow Cay I always longed to be a “Man O War Boy”. After selling my Elbow Cay home in 2009 I decided to purchase an in the settlement cottage on MOW. The one we liked was called “Low Overhead” and its pale yellow siding, blue metal roof, and white picket fence captivated us. It had recently been completely renovated down to the studs so we figured it would be inexpensive to maintain – hence the name “Low Overhead”. When we arrived to see it the first time and walked in we were very surprised to see that the ceiling height in the living room and kitchen was 6’ 2” – the real “Low Overhead”. We bought it and re-named it “Lost and Found” for Jackie’s propensity to lose things; then find them. We started renovations again with our caretaker Glenn Albury doing the work. We took out the 2nd floor, put in beams to stiffen the cottage and added a tongue and groove ceiling, thus creating a wide-open cathedral ceiling. We enlarged a storage room and made a master bedroom, laundry, and bathroom with a large tiled shower. We hope you enjoy our cottage and the warm, friendly MOW people
