Villa del Faro, an exquisite eco-hotel and bed and breakfast is an excellent getaway for you to spend a few days away from it all. Nestled on the Sea of Cortez with miles of empty beaches, this charming vacation retreat is ideal for restoring your relationship to nature and the sea. Each of our casitas on the East Cape can comfortably accommodate at least two guests, and some have room for three. Each casita has a king-size bed or a queen-size bed. The bathrooms are lovely and are supplied with natural soaps, shampoos and lotions. Casa Alberca (the Pool House) has a fully equipped kitchen as well. For entertainment, the Casa Alberca has satellite TV and a DVD player. Wireless Internet access is also available to catch up with emails. There are wood burning fireplaces in all bedrooms and in the living room of Casa Alberca, which take the chill off on cool nights and add to the romantic ambience. The private swimming pool is available to all guests of Villa del Faro, and each casita has beautiful outdoor areas for relaxing and enjoying the spectacular ocean views. One of the safest swimming beaches is five minutes from the door. Surfing, snorkeling, hiking, long walks on the deserted beaches, who could ask for anything more? There is a protected marine park half an hour away, and fishing and horseback riding trips can be arranged.Breakfast is included with all rentals. Villa del Faro serves a gourmet table d'hôte dinner upon request. Lunch is available at a local cantina about 2 miles away, and there are restaurants about half an hour’s drive further north.

Includes kitchen, living, dining, patios and three suites. The Fountain Suite opens onto a courtyard crowned by a hand-painted talavera fountain. The bedroom can be made up as two Twins or one King. The Casita Suite has its own patio and the Vista Suite has a large view patio as well. The gourmet kitchen has all the trimmings, with built-in BBQ and polished beach pebble counter. Dine indoors in the formal dining area, out on the garden patio, or in the fountain court. Cook in, dine out, order out and dine in. Rustic cabinet doors in the living room open to a wide-screen TV with home theater sound and DVD player, complemented by a collection of some all-time favorite movies.Auxiliary patio speakers, XM Satellite Radio, and universal iPod dock round out the sound scene. Plus wireless internet. Or turn down the sound and peruse our collection of art books and Baja natural history field guides.The beach is just a short walk away, but we wouldn't think of sending you there ill-prepared! We equip you with beach towels, folding chairs, umbrellas, ice chests and snorkeling gear. Rental kayaks are close-by. On your return, rinse and refresh at the outdoor shower.
