Located in the heart of Askerswell, is the magnificent St Micheal's Church,which houses a 15th century old tower. It was built by Talbot Bury of London in 1858 in perpendicular style. The church has a Norman font and a 15th century carved stone relief of the Crucifixion set near the west door into the tower.
