The arch built in 35 BC to honor Augustus is a major landmark of Aosta. The 11th century Tower (Castle) of Bramafan is another important site. It was built over a Roman bastion. Fiera de Sant'Orso is one of the biggest crafts fair of Aosta that features plays, music, and dance performances. It is held in the month of January.
