At Cayucos vacation rental houses and condos you can fish off the pier nearby, or rent a boat and go deep-sea fishing. The major attractions at a short drive away include the spectacular Hearst Castle, the Paso Robles vineyards, majestic Morro Rock and the colorful town of Cambria. If golf is your game you can drive to the Morro Bay Golf Course, test your putting skills. Morro Bay State Park is also located very nearby where you can enjoy a lot of sweet wilderness. You can also take your family to Charles Paddock Zoo at Atascadero.
Cayucos is known for its antiques shops. The city holds several antiques and collectibles of Central Coast, California. Local activities here include walking along the beach, bicycle touring, flying a kite, fishing off the pier and shopping. But fishing tops the list of activities in the region. Maximum catches of skate, surfperch, white croaker, starry flounder, sardines, halibut and mackerel have all been only from this region. After a day full of oceanfront activities you can walk down to Ocean Boulevard, a little bustling venue in this otherwise quieter town, to rejuvenate yourself at its several restaurants, saloons, boutiques and shopping centers, before retreating to your Cayucos vacation rentals. |
