"Punaluu" actually means "diving spring". Needless to say, the Punaluu region is paradise for divers. It’s a great pleasure to enjoy diving in the Island's north shore. Fortunately, enjoying the peace and tranquility of this wonderful tourist destination does not take much. You can just set out for Punaluu, choose a suitable Punaluu vacation home or condo and enjoy your holidays. If you are nature lover you can visit the nearby Haiku Gardens and the scenic Kualoa Ranch in Kualoa Regional Park. The park was once set for Jurassic Park movie displaying picture-perfect wild life. In this park you can also enjoy horseback riding and ATV riding to discover its diverse terrain.
Every moment spent here can become one of the pleasurable moments of life. Even lazing around the sleepy beach while the waves hit the shore and watching the sun set on the Oahu shore is a great pastime. Apart from this, there are ample opportunities for snorkeling and swimming with the sea turtles or tropical fish. You may come across humpback whales at the beach close to your vacation abode. Hawaiian Waterworks can be spotted at Ewa Beach orKahana Valley State Park. Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Museum and some other marvelous attractions of Hawaii can also be accessed within a few minutes drive.
The region of Punaluu hosts diversity of species including fishes, sea turtles, luxuriant growth of seaweeds and their abundant grazers. Punaluu Beach and the nearby parks are the most popular recreation venues in the city. Some rare species of sea turtles can be spotted on the way from beach to the National Park. They can be caught relaxing, swimming, or searching for food on the rocks. There are numerous beaches in the neighboring communities suitable for snorkeling, diving, boating, or wind surfing. Other important attractions around the city include Punaluu Art Gallery, Sacred Falls State Park, Kualoa Ranch, Polynesian Cultural Center and Waimea Falls State Park. With all these to see and do, Punaluu vacation rentals are the perfect getaways for a secluded Hawaiian retreat. |
