Possum Cottage is a fully self-contained luxury two-bedroom cottage set on half an acre of grounds adjoining the bush. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Everything you need to make your stay comfortable is provided. An absolute retreat, close to both Katoomba and Leura townships but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. Brush tail possums, wallabies, parrots, and kookaburras frequently visit the garden. Get close to nature without sacrificing any creature comforts. Relax in the spa, curl up in front of the fire with a good book or take a stroll down to Minni Ha Ha Falls. Possum Cottage has a gas BBQ, a large sundeck and a heated outdoor spa. There is also plenty of room for children, swings, a basketball hoop and a creek at the end of the garden for them to explore. Each room is tastefully decorated with your comfort in mind. The bedrooms have comfy beds with quality linens, feather quilts, electric blankets and heaters. We provide big fluffy towels, hairdryer and some toiletries. The lounge has a large TV, DVD, VCR, CD, stereo and a gas log fireplace to keep you warm and cosy. So bring your favourite movie, music or book and take the time to unwind. The country style timber kitchen is fully equipped should you wish to self cater or alternatively experience some of the many excellent restaurants and cafes in Katoomba or Leura. Iron and ironing board are provided and laundry facilities are available.
