Perhaps Maldon's most unique place to stay. Originally the stables for a long since disappeared pub, the Stables at Scotch pie House offers guests a very different experience. Behind the huge original wooden door no trace remains of the original occupants, strong Clydesdale horses and perhaps the publican's best racing thoroughbred! The Stables now offer guests two distinct living quarters, perfect for groups of friends sharing but also seeking their own space. Downstairs a double bedroom has it's own sitting room whilst up a winding wooden staircase the "Loft" offers views across Maldon's roof tops.
