Baker is decorated in soothing beach tones and features a fully-equipped kitchen including convection oven, microwave, dishwasher and grind and brew coffee maker. The granite island is perfect for casual dining and when combined with the dining area seats seven for dinner with ease. Delight in the lush urban and mountain vista through the floor-to-ceiling windows or from the private balcony (binoculars supplied).
The ample sectional couch in this corner unit is a wonderful place to take shelter from the rain with a good book or be dazzled by the city lights. Enjoy the convenience of the in-suite front-loading washer and dryer while staying connected with the flat-screen cable television and high-speed wireless (and wired) internet. Bring your own music for the iPod dock or tune into local stations with the Boston Acoustics radio.
After a long day of strolling and discovery, relax in the deep soaker tub; afterwards retire to the hotel-quality queen bed dressed in a fluffy duvet and luxury linens. The master bedroom also features a flat-screen TV. Excellent lighting in both bedrooms accommodates reading or relaxing and silk black-out curtains keep the city’s lights and the sun’s rays at bay.
For the entertainment of our younger guests, the suite is stocked with Legos, art supplies and games. A double stroller is available upon request.
A highlight of the ultra-secure Juliet building is a rooftop patio with a 360 degree view of Victoria, gas barbeque, fridge, sink, and outdoor theatre. The outdoor theatre features a 58" plasma screen television and state-of-the-art Bluray/DVD player with wireless headphones.
Everything you could want from Victoria is within a few lively blocks: smooth espresso, excellent restaurants, unique shops (including Market Square, Lower Johnson, Chinatown and the Design District), movie theatres, Save-On Foods Memorial Arena, the Royal Theatre, the Royal BC Museum, the Legislature and the Inner Harbour. A 30 minute walk will take you to spectacular Dallas Road and Beacon Hill Park via the charming Cook Street Village.
Park your car in the secured underground parking area, but you’ll forget you even brought it - the Juliet is steps away from full-serve grocery, drug, and liquor stores, bakeries and public transit - your entire vacation could be enjoyed on foot.
