Fisherman's Paradise (women and children too!)- Go up north to experience real fishing and hunting! This Leaf Rapids area, with the Churchill Flowage, is a fishing bonanza. Bear and moose hunting are also available through area outfitters. There is great sightseeing and wildlife viewing.
Leaf Rapids is a beautiful little town founded 25-plus years ago when the Ruttan mine was established and now is turning into a fine tourist area. There is a nice Town Center which includes a grocery store for any supplies you might need. Leaf Rapids does have a 2500 foot blacktop runway for small planes. You could even bring you golf clubs and play 9 holes on a quiet course surrounded by trees.
Approximately due north of Winnipeg and northwest of Thompson, this condominium complex affords single condominiums, or up to 12 condominiums, available for gatherings or family reunions... available for daily, weekly, monthly, or seasonal rentals.
