Secluded Country Home Near Adriatic Sea

"Nasa Istra" is a secluded stone country home with suitable accomodations for 4 persons. The house is surrounded by green lawns, an orchard and a forest. Located in the heart of Istria, in the village Rim, Nasa Istra is 8 km from the town of Buzet and only 25 km from the Adriatic sea.

Originally built in 1886, the home has been recently renovated and redecorated as a family house for a family with 2-3 children. Renovation and redecorating focused on one guiding principle: the family has to be comfortable and relaxed in the house. Only natural and ecology friendly materials were used for the reconstruction of the house. There are wood floors throughout, except in the kitchen and in the bathroom. The walls are mortared in the old fashioned way so the irregularity and warm colours of the walls remind us of our ancestors' calm life. Thick stone walls and air-conditioning will assure a cool house even on the hottest summer days.

The kitchen, the bathroom and the pantry are located on the ground floor and are divided from the living room by the wooden staircase leading to the first floor. The second floor features two bedrooms and a reading/relaxing area. The "open" attic and old beams give a special romantic touch. The master bedroom is spacious and pleasant, while he children's bedroom is like fairyland.

The washing machine, satellite TV, DVD, radio, completely furnished kitchen with a microwave, a coffee machine and many other appliances will make your life as comfortable. The home's large terrace offers fabulous views of the lawns and surrounding meadows. The tree-house, solid and safe, invites everyone to pop in for a visit.
