So named because of the views of the surrounding dales. This cottage has an upstairs lounge (featuring a substantial impressive old exposed beam) and kitchen area to take advantage of the views. Downstairs are two double bedrooms, making this cottage particularly suited for two couples.
The shower room is also on the ground floor. There are two means of entry and exit, on the ground floor or up attractive external stone steps to the living area (with of course an internal flight of stairs as well).
A second TV in one of the bedrooms supplements the flat screen TV on the first floor. Some guests occasionally choose to sit out in the early evening sun on the paved area at the top of the outside stone steps using it similar to a private patio area. The supplementary log effect heater adds to the superb atmosphere of this cottage.
Cycles are available for hire at a cost of about one half charged by the commercial bicycle hire companies and organisations, with the added benefit that you do not need to drive to the cycle hire bases. Its a modest 'hire-fleet', but four of the bikes are aluminium framed Raleighs, new this year so as hire bikes go, pretty reasonable quality.
