North-west of the Forest is the National Trust property of Oxburgh Hall - a fine example of a Tudor manor house, complete with moat. Outside, the gardens feature a walled orchard, kitchen garden and French parterre.
You can also visit Euston Hall which was built in the 17th century and is the ancestral seat of the Dukes of Grafton. Whilst boasting a large collection of family portraits by such artists as Van Dyck, Stubbs and Lely, it is mainly the grounds outside that capture attention - having been created by none other than Capability Brown and John Evelyn.
