The cottage is in an ideal location for the South West Coast path, with walks to Lulworth and the Purbecks, and is a short drive to Weymouth with its harbour, beach, shops and nightlife. There are plenty of attractions in the surrounding area including Weymouth Sealife Centre,Abbotsbury sub-tropical gardens, Monkeyworld, Hardy's Cottage and Tyneham Village.
