The Linhay is the conversion of the old cart and grain store completed in Spring 2005. Like the other conversions we have tried to do this as sympathetically as possible, retaining original oak posts and using oak sourced from our farm to blend in with older material. There is a vaulted ceiling in the kitchen dining area and exposed timbers in the sitting room. This building was last re-roofed in 1905, we know because the builder signed his name on the ridge board, so it has some history! The property consists of a kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and tumble dryer and a dining table and chairs. There is then a step down to a hallway off which is a shower room with spacious power shower, wash basin and toilet. The linhay has oil fired central heating. Off the hallway also is the sitting room with exposed roof timbers and patio doors leading to a patio area. The sitting room has wood burning stove, TV and D.V.D.
