Surrounded by acres of farmland on the outskirts of the peaceful hamlet of Traboe, An-Hay Farm is ideally situated for exploring the spectacular Cornish coastline and beaches of the Lizard Peninsula and the beautiful woodland and sailing waters of the Helford River. Cornish Camels is within walking distance. While the owners live in a separate part of the farmhouse (at the back) it is nonetheless quite private and has its own entrance and private garden. The comfortable sitting room exudes character with an inglenook fireplace, housing a wood burner and original bread oven, beamed ceiling and comfortable settees and chairs. A basket of logs is provided making the evenings cozy with a real fire. The bright, well equipped kitchen and a beautiful south facing sun lounge, which most guests utilize as a dining/sitting area, complete the accommodation on the ground floor (together with a WC).
Upstairs is a modern shower room and three well proportioned bedrooms with delightful views across the fields where the herd of pedigree Hereford cattle graze. The master bedroom is equipped with an en suite shower room (large double shower) and four poster bed, sheltered beneath a high apex ceiling with timber beams, adding an airy and open dimension to the room. The twin bedded rooms both have direct access to the 'Jack and Jill' modern shower room. Double glazed and standing in extensive landscaped grounds, there is a small enclosed garden to the front with a pond (be careful with young children). Adjoining fields are available for ball games or exploring the farm. There is parking for two cars.
