La Grange is a two storey lovingly restored barn, beside our hundreds of years old stonebuilt farmhouse, on the edge of a small, rural village which is surrounded by breathtaking rolling countryside. With pool, the house is set in over 4 acres of pretty, south facing country garden and arable land. La Grange is full of character and charm with beamed ceilings throughout and an ornate wood burner in the lounge.

The pool is on one of the garden terraces overlooking a wonderful panoramic view of the Lauragais countryside. Our visitors have their own garden furniture, complete with parasol and barbeque.
Parents, if you want some time to yourselves, we offer a babysitting/dogsitting service!
Representation : The English owners are resident and will offer you a friendly family welcome, summer and winter and provide you with guides and information if you wish to do some sightseeing. Or you may wish to relax in the garden enjoying the sun and some local wine or have a dip in the pool with tranquil surroundings and beautiful views

Vineyards of Malepere, Corbieres and Minervois Regions. Food and wine haven. Near Canal du Midi where Rick Stein’s French Odessy went through Castelnaudary and Carcassonne. French Leave was filmed not far from here. Follow in Kevin Costner’s footsteps in Carcassonne where « Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves » was filmed. 15 minutes drive to medieval town of Mirepoix with most amenities. Castelnaudary, Villefrance-de-Lauragais and Mazères about 20-30 minutes drive and each has motorway access to Toulouse, Carcassonne or coast. Swimming, sailing, windsurfing and fishing on the large lakes of Montbel or La Ganguise or at the Med. Or perhaps you prefer riding, cycling or walking. Tennis club, (we are members), in Belpech, 5 mins drive. Ideal touring base for historical attractions, the Med and Andorra (winter skiing). Colourful markets.
Or relax in lovely grounds enjoying the sun and some local wine or have a dip in the pool with tranquil surroundings and beautiful panoramic views.
