Situated on the outskirts of the tiny hamlet of Le Cros, the property nestles amongst stunning scenery in a sheltered valley of chestnut and pine forest in the department of La Creuse. The friendliness of the people here will make you feel instantly at home in what is truly the "real" France. The area caters for all manner of outdoor pursuits, and although Les Hirondelles satisfies that "get away from it all" feeling, it is within easy reach of all the attractions the Limousin has to offer. We are on site throughout the year to help you get the most from your holiday with us.
La Chouette cottage is named after the owl who lived in the building before its conversion to comfortable self catering accommodation. The open plan living / kitchen area has a high vaulted ceiling and is comfortably furnished. All accommodation is on the first floor. There is satellite tv and a dvd player.
The cottage has a double bedroom and a bedroom with bunk beds both carpeted and with ample wardrobe space. La Chouette cottage has exclusive use of the swimming pool along with our other cottage.
The pool is well equipped with loungers and garden furniture, so you can either eat in the small private garden to the rear of the cottage, or in the main garden - both of which have barbecues.The main garden also has table tennis, badminton, childrens swings and a boules area.
