Greta, our maid, arrives early enough to cook breakfast, serves lunch and will prepare an evening meal if wished. She will also do small amounts of your personal laundry as well as 'keeping house'. A small supply of groceries can be purchased for your arrival.

Grenada is somewhere special for a holiday. It is one of the most beautiful of all the Caribbean Islands, being lush and green even in the dry season. It has mountainous scenery - with two peaks around 3,000 ft., waterfalls, colourful tropical flowers, trees and shrubs. Grenada is known as the Spice Island and grows much of the world's nutmeg and other spices. Bananas, cocoa and coconuts also grow in abundance. It is a friendly Island with a charm and character of its own and is still untouched by the commercialism of many of the other Islands.
There are all types of restaurants, including French, Italian, Chinese and of course many local ones serving international and 'local' dishes with fresh lobster high on the list. Within walking distance of Owl Cottage you will find the following restaurants:- Red Crab, Choo Light (Chinese), Kudos and the Boatyard (+ mini-market). Along 'our' beach, the Calabash Hotel for that special' celebration. The 'Aquarium'
