100 Year old stone built house. Wooden beams, vaulted ceilings, wood floors very thick walls so nice and cool in summer. In a small village on the north shore of lake Baltone, largest lake in central Europe, the Hungarian sea. In the Nemzeti National park village is surrounded by unspoilt open farm land, small vineyards and gentle foot hills. Much wild life, hardly any traffic and perfect for walking, hiking and cycling. The house has been recently restored and is comfortably furnished with antiques. There are reading lamps books well equipped kitchen and places to eat and relax in the large shady garden.The vilage has a shop, cafe, bar, restaurant and guest house. There are four mountain bikes and some bike tools, pump, spare tubes etc. This is the third year of letting. The house is now well looked after and runs smoothly. The neighbours in the village and shops and cafes are very friendly and supportive. They really appreciate having visitors. I love the house to be lived in.
