This 200 year old stone farmhouse has been restored to the highest specification and has astounding views of the surrounding mountains and countryside with large 12 m pool. Situated just outside the sleepy village of Serramonacesca,just 20 min. from the sandy beaches of Pescara, and 30 min. from the bottom of the chair lift (2900 m high, so plenty of snow in the winter), this charming old farm house offers both good skiing in the winter and wonderful swimming in the Adriatic in the summer - but tranquility at all times! The house is approached through a tree lined drive, with a river at the bottom (safe for children to paddle and even has the odd trout - owner has fishing rights!).200 olive trees in the surrounding grounds - and also some almond, fig, pear trees etc. Consisting of 3 large double bedrooms, two bathrooms, en suite facilities, a fully equipped very large Kitchen/Diner, with a 2 metre pine table in the kitchen with 8 chairs, (equipped with upright fridge/freezer, washing machine, dish washer, expresso etc.) a large lounge with a romantic log fire and an “Open” room for eating (summer only!). There is an enormous terrace (12x6m) on the first floor with wonderful south facing views. It is equipped with a swing chair for three, a large round mahogany garden table with six chairs, and of course a barbecue. There are also several hammocks. The house will easily sleep six but has two extra z beds if needed.

The above picture shows the farmhouse from the Olive Grove. Many of the internal walls have had the plaster removed to expose the natural stone walls that are nearly a metre thick, so the house is naturally cool in the summer! There is something for everyone. A holiday experience not to be missed! A log cabin by the pool could be used as an extra bedroomwith ensuite.
