There is a little store/tienda and a nicely maintained park nearby. The down town area is about a 10 to 15 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi ride. Taxis are cheap and reliable. The large white sand beach in Ixtapa is Playa Palmar a short 5 min taxi ride away. Playa Linda and Playa Larga are also near by as is the beautiful Isla Ixtapa where the snorkeling is fantastic. You can choose to go to town to shop, beach or dine or stay home to enjoy the pool and spa and relax in this well equipped home. The area is safe and quiet with a friendly atmosphere, and has moderately priced restaurants and entertainment a quick taxi trip away or a healthy 10 to 15 minutes walk. We are only 20 minutes from the airport and only five minutes from Zihuatanejo where you can enjoy a large selection of dining, recreation,shopping and more beautiful beaches.
