It is only 25 minutes away from downtown Auckland yet our villa is immersed in gorgeous rolling green hills. Ideally located to enjoy the tranquil country life, still very easy to visit Auckland for sight seeing and shopping. The famous Orewa beach is just 5 minute drive away.
Our villa is normally serving as Bed and Breakfast ( Please note that the rate includes daily breakfast and cleaning service.) but can be rented as a whole. The house is about 100 years old in traditional New Zealand Villa style with very high ceiling in common areas. From any of the many windows of the house you can view the beautiful green garden of the property. There is an elegantly decorated living room with large bay window where you can play piano or read books which are abundant throughout the house. The kitchen/dining room is open and bright with TV and comfortable chairs. There is also a deck for sitting around on warm days.
We have 4 bedroom each with shower and toilet; one is very large with a spacious bathroom, a king size bed, and a cute sleeping alcove with a single bed. 2 other rooms are with queen size bed and the last one with double bed.
There is a 1 km walking trail along the stream which runs through the property. You go in and out of the famous New Zealand native bush and enjoy bird watching and plant observation.
We also have a beautiful greenhouse which is equipped for entertainment for up to 50 guests. For event planning, please contact the owner.
