   OHAKUNE VACATION COTTAGE RENTAL DESCRIPTION :
 
Perfectly located in Rangataua, a small village just moments outside of Ohakune, Kaha Cottage is family friendly, rustic style accommodation in a private rural garden setting. The property is on 1 1/2 acres with spectacular views of the mountains (Mt Ruapehu and at times, Mt Taranaki) and all the benefits of a small village community.

Kaha Cottage is ideal accommodation all year round. An ideal base for snow-skiing/boarding (only 20 minutes to the top of the mountain), sight-seeing, bushwalks or tramping, or perhaps a retreat from the city all year round. There is also horse trekking nearby and we sometimes offer a personally guided tour of the Rangataua settlement and bush on horseback or quad bike (can only cater for small groups). The kids will love this.

The cottage sleeps 4, a dbl bed & a futon couch that folds out to a 2nd dbl bed. All beds have electric blankets, rooms have day heating (gas) and an oil heater for extra comfort during the night.

Cabin - Level Within Rental: 1
The cabin sleeps 4, a queen bed, a single bed and roll out bed. All beds have electric blankets and the rooms have gas heating during the day and an oil heater for extra comfort during the night.
 
Bathroom - Level Within Rental: 1
The bathroom is in the cottage. It consists of a shower and handbasin and toilet. There is shelving and cupboards for your personals and towel racks for airing your towels.
 
Spa house - Level Within Rental: 1
The spa house is separate from the accom. It is built with native and recycled timber and can be set up for special occaisions. It is a great place to relax after a day on the mountain.
 
Rustic Style Gardens - Level Within Rental: 1
The gardens have been a work in progress for 2 yrs. You have your own wagon garden entrance and parking. The cottage and cabin gardens are designed especially to give you a rustic country feeling!
