Karaka is a two bedroom cottage with a king size bed in the main bedroom and 2 singles in the other. It can accommodate up to seven guests if the Studio is used as another bedroom. It has a large covered verandah and decks overlooking the estuary shore. The bathroom has a luxurious shower and a step outside takes you to a bath deck with a hot bathtub and panoramic views of the estuary.
The living area has a wood burner which keeps the whole cottage very warm in winter along with under-floor heating in the main bedroom. The Studio can provide space for a writer or painter; an office for those who need a broadband connection; or an extra bedroom. The bed linen is pure cotton. Karaka has a TV, DVD player and CD player.
