This self catering cottage was originally a rural school built about 1830. It has now been completely reconstructed internally while keeping the original exterior.
The cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Insh in the valley of the River Spey with the Cairngorm Mountains on one side and the Monadhliath Mountains to the west.
The cottage adjoins the famous Insh Marshes Bird Reserve. There are several good golf courses nearby. Fishing is also available and the whole area is very scenic and perfect for walking. Three miles away is beautiful Loch Insh where water sports are available.
There is a large sitting/dining room with a fully fitted kitchen in a large alcove. The kitchen has a washing machine, fridge, cooker and microwave. The sitting room fire burns logs which are provided.One twin-bedded room with shower room en suite.Second twin-bedded room with bathroom adjacent. Bed linen is provided, and towels for overseas visitors. The cottage sleeps four.
