Footpaths and bicycle tracks lead directly into the Abernethy Forest nature reserve and on to Loch Garten, the river Spey or the Cairngorm mountain plateau.East Dell is built of local granite. It is quiet with open views across fields (see top picture, home page) from the seclusion of its enclosed garden. Buzzards are often seen and heard from the comfort of the garden seat.
