Gate Lodge known locally as the round house sits at the entrance to the estate amidst mature trees with a burn running by. Inside is comfortable, stylish and full of character. ATTRACTIONS :

	The cruciform walled garden lies behind the house. Sheltered by the ancient walls Marcus has worked hard, using organic and bio-dynamic growing methods, to restore it from brambles and docks to somewhere near its former glory. Along with formal pathways, wide borders and rose walk there is an ancient orchard with some of the old trees still bearing fruit and a south facing vegetable garden. It has a peaceful atmosphere which reflects the love and care that has been put into it.
