West Dell is a traditional cottage, stone built of local granite, and slate roofs from Tomintoul. It is around 350 years old overlooking lawn and mature woodland. An open stair-case winds its way from the living room to the upstairs bedrooms. These have low ceilings under sloping eaves, and sky-lights with wooden shutters. Downstairs, the main bedroom, bathroom and living room is full height with sash windows.
