Enjoy the fresh air of Cape Town’s green-belt with all the city’s attractions nearby. Indulge in a leisurely breakfast at the B&B Guest House, or enjoy the privacy of our guest apartments with one, two or three bedrooms. Our child-friendly self-catering property provides 4-star accommodation in a scenic setting bordering a wetland just 5 minutes walk from Fish Hoek/Clovelly beach.
Guest apartments - some with wheelchair access - have full or partial sea views, satellite TV and fully-equipped kitchens, secure parking and independent alarms. Each has a private deck or patio for barbecues, eating al fresco, sipping sundowners or just lounging in the sunshine. Enclosed grounds have a salt-water pool and laundry.
In the heart of Table Mountain National Park alongside the warm waters and whales of False Bay, Clovelly Lodge is 20-30 mins drive from the CBD and 30-40 mins from the Airport. Car-hire and airport-shuttles arranged. Cot available on request.
Table Mountain, the Winelands, Cape Point, V&A Waterfront, Robben Island, the penguins at Boulders Park, Chapman’s Peak, historic Simon’s Town and Kirstenbosh Botanical Gardens are all within easy reach. You’ll find all the essential services you need in nearby Fish Hoek and the famous restaurants and bars of trendy Kalk Bay fishing village are also on your doorstep. Beaches of white sand and calm tidal pools offer some of Cape Town’s safest swimming. Clovelly and Fish Hoek beaches are some of the most popular. Local activities include horse-riding on the beach, hiking, surfing, shark-diving and other boat trips, fishing, diving and outstanding scenic drives. The Lodge backs onto nature reserve with excellent hikes as well as pot-holing, climbing and caving.
From July to November the local coastline provides a protected area for the southern right whales which come here to mate and calve every year. Enjoy them from the shore or take a boat-ride from Simon’s Town or Kalk Bay for the thrill of a close encounter.
The Clovelly Country Club's championship 18-hole golf-course is just next door - Simon's Town, Westlake and Steenberg golf-courses are just 10 minutes drive.

From Cape Town International Airport, follow N2 towards central Cape Town. Turn left onto M3 to ‘Muizenberg’ and/or 'Kirstenbosch'/'Rhodes Drive'. Follow to end (10-15 mins). From end of M3 go left towards Muizenberg. Take the Boyes Drive turn 200m from the junction - from end of Boyes Drive at Kalk Bay harbour turn right. Around 700m further on take the right turn into Clovelly Road (signposted 'Clovelly') opposite beach (before Fish Hoek). Take first left into Montrose Avenue. The B&B Guest House is on the right at the end - Number 40. Self-catering guests should also check in here (you will be taken to your apartment immediately after checking-in, so please don’t off-load your vehicle!). |
