"El Embarcadero" is located in the village of San Juan de Nieva, the west side of the area of Gozón, to the right of the Ría de Avilés, next to Xagó beach and the lighthouse of San Juan de Nieva, where the protected landscape of the Cabo Peñas begins.
San Juan de Nieva is located at 12 Km from Luanco, capital of the area, and 6 Km from Avilés. It has 25 inhabitants and it is a small village next to the sea, where whithin 1 km, you will be able to practise trekking, mountain bike, fishing, diving, paragliding, surf, sailing or go for a swim on the beach. Also you can go to different towns (Avilés, Gijón, Oviedo,...) in only a few minutes.
The house, built in the 19th century, is made of stone with interious of chestnut wood, as formerly the Asturian houses were built. It is a three stored rural house. The groundfloor has a kitchen with an eating area, aliving room with a small reading area, and a toilet. The first floor has a double and a single (1.20 m.) bedrooms, and a bathroom. And the third floor is an attic with twin beds and a sofa bed. The view from any of the bedrooms is of boats entering the harbour.
There is a 100 m2 garden where to sunbath or barbacue, and a parking space.Next to the house there is a small landing stage for boats and a children´s play area.The house is equipped with electrical appliances like ceramic hobb, fridge, oven, microwave, washing machine,.... It also has bed linen, kithchen cutlery, pots, pans, etc., TV, DVD, table games,.... to feel like at home.
