La Pared is located on the southern west coast of Fuerteventura. The village offers absolute tranquility and breathtaking landscapes. There are 2 excellent restaurants in the village. The surrounding villages and tourist resorts like Costa Calma can be reached within a few minutes by car or bus. The beautiful beach of La Pared (Playa del Viejo Rey = Old King's Beach) is at 15 minutes walking. This beach is very popular with surfers. Waves and currents can get strong, so it is not always suitable for bathing. The popular beaches of Costa Calma and Sotavento are at 8 minutes drive. They are a paradise for beach hikers, water sport enthusiasts, windsurfers and those mereley longing to take in the sun.
