Nearer at hand is the town of Xativa with its magnificent castle perched high on the hill, its fountains, shaded avenues and fascinating shops. To the west, we reach the village of Tous, before crossing the dam on the Riu Xuquer and heading into the mountains.

To the east is the Costa del Azahar (Orange Blossom Coast) with its wonderful beaches, and the l’Albufera Nature Reserve, separated from the blue flag beaches and crystal clear Mediterranean sea by just a thin strip of land.
