My apartment is 15 minutes walk away at the base of a spectacular mountain. This brand new apartment is large and airy, with lots of light and ventilation from the extra windows and 2 French doors opening onto the balcony. It is at the bottom of the building , so is very cool and shady in the summer heat, especially as the front of the apartment and balconies are in shade till mid afternoon. Up on a plain 1000 ft. above the coastal heat is the small and friendly yet well developed resort village of Hisaronu, dedicated to the British tourist. By then the sun has turned mellow and golden, it floods the rooms and balconies so you can bask in privacy a few steps from the drinks in the fridge! Watch the sun sink behind the hills in the padded patio easy chairs.
