From the dining room you step out onto the patio where you can sunbathe, entertain friends or enjoy glorious sunsets while watching resident birds and other wildlife. Roadrunner Retreat is ideal for a romantic interlude or for family gatherings with sleeping for eight. The Retreat is tastefully furished and deorated in a comfortable and casual southwestern style. It has beautiful Saltrillo tiles floors throughout the house. The living room has a fireplace to warm yourself by on cooler winter nights. The large dining room has pleasant view of the patio and garden with easting for six. The "country kitchen" is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave and service for eight. Laundry room has washer and dryer. Roadrunner is truly a special place with striking territorial views of the Patagonia and Coronado Mountains and a perfect southwestern view of "Red Mountain" which provides enchanting sunrises and glorious sunset from the home's gardens and patio. Take a leisurely stroll to the heart of the town just a few short blocks away and smaple local food, visit art galleries and shops or walk a little further to visit the Nature Conservancy Preserve that borders the town. The Preserve is known worldwide for the 300 species of birds that migrate through or nest along its creeks and waterways.
Patagonia offers access to numerous hiking trails including the historic Arizona Trail, and it is just 20 minutes to Sonora, Mexico.
