Golf Course Home overlooking Mingus Mtns.10 minues to Sedona, AZ. Avoid the traffic in Sedona and Relax on the quiet patio,after a day of sightseeing. This home is in a perfect central location, next door to Sedona, and 12 minutes to historic Jerome (old mining town), which has become quite a tourist destination in the last 10 years. The Verde Valley Railroad Station is also only 10 minutes away in Clarkdale. Old Town Cottonwood antique shops and restaurants, only 6-8 minutes. Out of Aftrica Wild Animal Park 19 minutes. The Tuzigoot Ruins are 12 minutes, and the Montezuma's Well and Montezuma's Castle Ruins are 20-25 minutes from my door. The Cliff Castle Casino was voted "Best in Arizona" 8 years in a row, and even has a Childrens entertainment area. It is 20 minutes away, near the Freeway exit.
This private home is beautifully decorated, with a 2 car garage, in a gated resort community. TIVO,DVD,DVR,VCR HBO,Sports Channels. Satellite,WiFi,Desktop computer, printer,Fax and photocopier. The Verde Santa Fe Club house has a heated Pool(except mid winter), Billiards, and a work-out room with TV.
The kitchen is fully equipped and both bathrooms have hair dryers, curling irons, shampoo & conditioners, and plenty of new linens.
My guests always tell me that they had no idea there was so much to see south of Sedona, and they wanted to stay longer. Many have returned to see what they didn't have time to see on their first visit.

It is about 2 hours to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, 10 minutes to Old Town Cottonwood, 25 minutes to the "Out of Africa" Wild Animal Theme park. The Cliff Castle Casino has live entertainment at the I-17 freeway exit 25 minutes away.
Jerome is 15 minutes up the mountain from the house. Their mining museum, at the bottom of the cliff, is very interesting. The Verde Valley Train(locomotive) leaves daily,from Clarkdale (15 minutes away)and offers scenic train rides an meals.
Sedona is visited by people from all over the world because of the beautiful red rocks. Sedona is 10 minutes, from my driveway to the city limits of Sedona. There are lots of hiking trails, and our previous guests have kindly rated them for distance and difficulty,in our "house diary".
One of our favorite restaurants is Nic's Italian Steak and Crab house, in Old Town Cottonwood. |

From the Phoenix Sky Harbor airport, go a few miles West on I-10. Then take the I-17 (To Flagstaff)exit, and drive North for 1.5 hours approx. There are 3 exits that will take you West into the red rock areas. Cottonwood exit, Sedona exit, and one in between, at Cornville. The Mtn. towns of Jerome,Cottonwood,Cornville, and Sedona, are all about 25 minutes West of the I-17 Freeway to Flagstaff. It is a beautiful drive through Sajuaro Forests in the day time, but very dark at night. I send everyone a map if they email me an INQUIRY. |
