This lodge style chalet has 3 bedrooms (2 kings, 1 queen, 1 sleeper sofa), 2 baths and sleeps 8 people. It has an over-sized great room that features an exposed beam ceiling with a suspended antique Conestoga wagon wheel chandelier, and a gorgeous floor to ceiling used brick fireplace. After a long day on the slopes, wrestling the one-armed bandits (an oldies term for slot machines), or shopping the outlets, sitting in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine or a mug of hot chocolate can\'t be beat!
The home is centrally located off Pioneer Trail in popular Montgomery Estates, and is within 4 to 7 minutes of world class skiing, casinos, restaurants and, of course, beautiful Lake Tahoe. Although it is so centrally located, it is away from traffic and is less than a block away from national forest preserve which is perfect for hiking and biking in the summer. For the adventurous hikers, the view of Lake Tahoe from the top of the trail is breathtaking. On your way, there is a meandering stream complete with falls, where the kids can enjoy water fun, while the adults enjoy a picnic lunch. It is perfect for those educational nature hikes.
After a long day of sporting activities or even shopping the outlets, everyone loves to lounge in the spa. The large deck is perfect for relaxing while the steaks are on the barbecue. Enjoy the quiet and hear the sounds of nature. It is truly peaceful!!
