Chimney Rock Adobe

Enjoy lots of privacy and great views of Chimney Rock from this custom built adobe house on 35 acres.

The house is located about 20 miles west of Pagosa Springs. The Chimney Rock Archaeological Area is just down the road and offers fascinating tours of this sacred Anasazi site. Navajo Reservoir is about 25 minutes (15 miles) west on Highway 151 and Lake Vallecito is about an hour's drive, and both offer camping and water sports. Wolf Creek Ski Area is about an hour\'s drive east. It is about a 20-minute drive to the outskirts of Pagosa Springs (and the nearest supermarket!) and a 50-minute drive to the outskirts of Durango. The four bedrooms and three bathrooms will comfortably accommodate 10 people. The living room, kitchen, and dining area are located on the main level. Just off the kitchen is a bedroom containing a queen size bed and satellite TV and a full bathroom with shower across the hall. There is a loft upstairs with a couch, table and chairs, satellite TV and CD/DVD player; and there is a twin daybed with a twin trundle on the loft as well. The master bedroom suite, with a California King bed, is just off the loft. French doors open onto a small balcony, and the suite includes a full bathroom with shower and a bathtub with jacuzzi jets. On the other end of the loft is another bedroom with a queen size bed. The basement has a ping-pong table, treadmill, and weight machine as well as a sitting area and television. Also in the basement are a bedroom with a queen size bed, a double futon, a full bathroom with shower, and a laundry room. There is a hot tub with jacuzzi jets just outside the back door as well as a BBQ. High speed wireless Internet service is available for those with a wireless card; however, cellular phones are not likely to work on the property.
