Apache Lake to the south and Nokomis Lake to the north, each about one quarter mile from the cabin. Apache Lake has a beautiful hiking trail around the lake.Also enjoy other local hikes, fishing in nearby lakes/streams, horse back riding, mountain biking, 4x4 jeep trails, casual day drives. winter sports include cross country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding/tubing, etc.Down the road one-half mile is the Village of Red Feather. The Village has a small grocery store, hardware store, crafts store, ice cream/coffee shop, antique store, library, and post office.
