A ten-minute walk into the historic village of Stony Creek, brings you to shops, restaurants and the town beach. You might want to get lunch to go and picnic on the property. Complimentary tea and wine will be served early evening, just in time for spectacular sunsets. At night, the subtly lit trees and gently lapping water create a magical ambiance. There is fine local dining in Branford, Guilford and Madison... or you may opt to go into New Haven for shows at Long Wharf, the Schubert or Yale Rep. There you will find great restaurants, wine bars and clubs. Also, there are museums and sometimes concerts on the green.
