VACATION RENTAL DESCRIPTION : Relax and enjoy the charms of downtown Mystic. Located on the historic property of Captain William Morgan, an 18th century sea captain, this private carriage house is situated just one-half block from downtown Mystic and the Mystic River. Feel free to explore Mystic on foot, bike, or kayak or just relax on your private brick terrace surrounded by English gardens.There are many wonderful restaurants, spas, and shops within walking distance to the carriage house. The carriage house is open year round and can be rented nightly, weekly, or monthly. There are two tastefully decorated suites for rent.These are side by side in the carriage house but not connected. Each includes a king-size bed, gas fireplace or stove, cathedral ceilings, beautifully decorated custom bath with a large soaking tub with rain shower, TV, VCR, refrigerator, microwave, telephone, CD player... and lots of charm!The larger suite also has a daybed with pop-up trundle which forms another king bed. Both suites open to the private brick terrace behind the carriage house.This is a non-smoking accommodation. Smoking is allowed outside on the terrace.
