It's just a short stroll to Main Beach Park which has a skate park, boardwalk, picnic area and miniature golf course. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Off the beach there is a host of exciting things to do - like visiting the old seaport town of Fernandina with its intriguing shops and restaurants and wealth of 19th century, restored buildings. Ft. Clinch State Park offers a restored fort, hiking and biking trails, and fishing on the pier. A public pool and tennis courts are within walking distance. For golf lovers, the Fernandina Beach Municipal Golf Course is just down the street and tee times are easy to schedule. |

Jacksonville International Airport is located about 25 minutes from 211 S. Fletcher. From Jacksonville International Airport, take I-95 S to exit 373 (Amelia Island), bear right onto A1A which takes you to Amelia Island. Cross the bridge onto the island and turn right at the second light onto Sadler Road. Continue on Sadler Road to the beach. Go around the roundabout and proceed north on S. Fletcher Avenue (A1A). 211 S. Fletcher will be on your left in about 1-1/2-miles. |
