North Redington Beach is a small town nestled on the central Gulf Coast of Florida in Pinellas County between the Gulf of Mexico and Boca Ciega Bay. This colorful community fronts both the Gulf and the Intracoastal Waterway and has an eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, hotels and motels. A soft, white sandy beach slopes gently into the Gulf of Mexico, making it very safe for swimming for both children and adults. One of the biggest attractions to North Redington Beach is that visitors have all the amenities of a much larger city, yet without the crowds, noise and traffic. There are six beach accesses on the Gulf side with 28 miles of shoreline, perfect for swimming, shelling, building sandcastles, sunning, strolling at sunset, or relaxing with a good book.
The town of North Redington Beach has two playground areas for children, and two tennis courts available for public use. Deep-sea fishing, casino cruises, dolphin watching nature tours and snorkeling is also available in the area. The nearby Pinellas Trail offers a 34-mile challenge for hiking, biking, jogging or walking. (Motorized vehicles are prohibited and pets must be walked along the trail on a leash.) If golf is your game, the Redington Beach area has 34 beautiful and affordable golf courses to challenge you. If you enjoy pro sports, nearby Tampa Bay is home to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
