The beach house was built in the 1950's and renovated and expanded in 1992 and again in 2003. The original charming home has been preserved. The cypress wood ceiling is original and characteristic of south Florida architecture. The ground floor features two bedrooms, one bath, family room and an eat-in kitchen surrounded by the garden. Adjoining the kitchen is a spacious family sitting area with cable television and an entrance onto the spacious outdoor porch. All bedrooms have cable television. The house can accommodate six comfortably. The first floor features a bedroom with queen sized bed, another bedroom with two twins, and the sofa in the family room converts into another queen sized bed. There is also a crib. The porch off the master suite faces directly west and is the best place to watch the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico. Pelicans, seagulls, herons, and wild parrots can all be seen.
