There are many things to do and see in the area. Port St. Joe is a 15 minute drive away and Apalachicola is only 20 minutes away. Panama City is an hour drive. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. The St. Joe Peninsula State Park is only about 1000 feet away and it has wonderful hiking, nature watching, bird watching and beach exploring opportunities. Any type of watersport, from canoe and kayak rentals to deep sea fishing and scuba diving is close by as well. There is even horse back riding on the beach! |
