  This city is truly in the middle of it all with Daytona Beach 30 minutes north with all the whirlwind of activities (fortunately not at your beach). Orlando with all the theme parks and activities in itself can take a week to explore is only 1 hour away. To the south 1 hour is Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral for deep sea fishing, cruise ships and NASA tours with weekly minor launches. On the beach, sea turtles hatch until August although they are becoming rare.
