The last Light Keeper stationed at the Lighthouse built this cottage and it awaits your arrival; tucked away on an ancient Coquina dune in one of the last native hammocks, this lovely cottage is surronded by lush tropical gardens with patios for outside dining and relaxing. Two comfortable bedrooms, one or two baths, living room, dining room and a full kitchen completely equipped with a few extras: coffee, tea, and some other goodies, ready for your visit.
The Garden is Private, and complete with a natural fiber hammock, perfect for reading but also a favorite for bird watching. The rookery and the Alligator Farm are just across the way and the bird life is outstanding. Take a walk over the bridge to Historic Downtown St. Augustine to see the sights - about a half mile stroll, and say hello to the dolphins for me.
