Black Ankle Springs is located in the heart of the Aska Adventure Area and near the Toccoa River Canoe Trail, a Mecca for hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, and fly fishing enthusiasts. If you are coming to Blue Ridge for an outdoor adventure, or just wanting to get away from the world for a while, this cabin is for you.
The master and guest bedrooms are on opposite ends of the cabin and have a door opening out onto the back porch. The kitchen, dining room and living room are all combined in one great room so that everyone can be a part of the activities, whatever they are doing. Cook the trout you caught today on the grill on the back covered porch, and dine out there too swapping stories about "the one that got away."
As evening falls, start a fire in the wood burning fireplace or outside in the fire pit and relax and reflect on your adventures and discoveries of the day, and discuss your plans for tomorrow. If your extreme mountain biking was too extreme, you will want to soak in the Jacuzzi in the master bath, large enough for two.
