The White House Farm is located in the heart of Georgia's Mennonite community. The "home place" is situated on a 250 acre working dairy farm complete with green fields, lush growing crops, and tranquil sunsets. The two-story home was built in the early 50's by the innkeepers, Christian and Anna Yoder, with help from the local Mennonite community. The Mennonite tradition of saving money and instilling fellowship in their buildings remains today. The Yoders are descendants of the original Mennonites that relocated to Georgia from Virginia.
Each of the 3 bedrooms have private baths and are individually heated and cooled to assure the guests' comfort. A small kitchen is provided for your use. The Yoder family prepares a full breakfast and wonderful Mennonite baked goods to accompany the warm hospitality that is traditional with the Mennonite community. Guests may dine in the gazebo, weather permitting. What a wonderful opportunity to escape the confusion of city life.
